User-Generated Content (UGC) Terms of Use

These Terms set out the conditions for using the "みんなのカード" public gallery (the "Public Gallery") in the mobile app おさんぽビンゴ (Walking Bingo) (the "App"), provided by Kyohei Takeshita ("we", "us"). You must agree to these Terms in order to submit a custom bingo card for publication in the Public Gallery, or to browse and use the Public Gallery.

1. How the Public Gallery Works

• Only the card title and the text of each of the 25 squares is published in the Public Gallery.
• Publication is anonymous. The author's name, email address, and user identifier appear neither on screen nor in any API response we provide.
• The Public Gallery has no features that connect users to each other — no comments, messages, following, or links to authors. Other users can only view a card and import it to their own device to play with it.

2. Content Standards for Publication

A card you submit for publication must not contain any of the following.

1. Personally identifying information: names (whether your own or someone else's), addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or IDs, the name of a school, class, cram school, or club, or anything that would identify a home or a route to school.
2. Contact details or invitations to make contact: asking to exchange contact details, proposing to meet in person, or directing readers to an external service.
3. Content that harms others: defamation, insults, bullying, harassment, or threats directed at a specific person or organization.
4. Discriminatory content: content that demeans or excludes people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, illness, religion, occupation, or similar grounds.
5. Violent, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content: content that promotes violence or cruelty, sexual content, content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or dangerous acts, and content concerning illegal activity or illegal drugs.
6. Content that infringes the rights of others: using another person's copyrighted work, characters, trademarks, or likeness without the rights holder's permission.
7. URLs and external links: web addresses, QR code content, or any other string that directs readers to an external service.
8. Advertising, solicitation, or commercial content, and conduct that interferes with the operation of the Public Gallery, such as posting the same content in bulk.

Such content is screened out by an automated filter at the time of submission and by our review. However, the filter and the review are not perfect. The person submitting the card (and the guardian described in section 4) is responsible for ensuring that the content meets these standards.

3. Photos and Drawings Cannot Be Published

• A card containing even one photo or drawing square is rejected at the point of submission.
• This is not merely an operational rule but a structural restriction. The published data structure has no field that can reference an image, and there is no mechanism that serves images through the Public Gallery path.
• Photos and drawings are used only on your own device and can never reach the Public Gallery.

If you want to publish a card that uses photos or drawings, replace those squares with text or preset items before submitting it.

4. Guardian Approval Is Required

• A card can be submitted for publication only after a guardian has approved it (an approval action performed after passing the in-app "おとなのかくにん" guardian gate).
• Before approving, the guardian should confirm that the content of the card meets the content standards in section 2.
• Submitting a card for publication requires a linked Google account or Apple ID. Publication cannot be requested from an unlinked (anonymous) state.
• Guardian approval does not guarantee publication. Even after approval, a card is published only if it passes our review (section 5).

5. Publication Is Subject to Review

Cards submitted for publication are checked in the following order.

1. Automated filter: a mechanical check for inappropriate wording, strings that look like contact details or URLs, text that looks like a personal name, address, or school name, length limits, and so on.
2. Human review: our reviewer checks the content. A card is published only if it is approved in this review.

• A card may be rejected as a result of the review. A rejected card is not published, but it remains on your device and in the cloud as a private card. You may edit it and submit it again.
• Review takes some time. You can check the status of your submission in the App.
• In addition to violations of these Terms, we may refuse publication or suspend a published card without stating an individual reason where we judge it necessary to keep the Public Gallery safe.

6. Reporting

If you find problematic content on a published card, please report it.

• Report from within the App: use "つうほうする" (Report) on the card detail screen in the Public Gallery, choose a category (inappropriate content / personal information is written here / an attempt to exchange contact details / it is scary or upsetting / other), and add a description of up to 200 characters if you wish. The report action sits behind the "おとなのかくにん" guardian gate. Users without a linked account can also report.
• Contact us by email: for matters that do not fit the in-app report flow — rights-infringement notices, legal requests, takedown requests from third parties — please contact info+walking_bingo@oysk2.com, including information that identifies the card, such as its title.

How we handle reports:

• A single report in the "personal information is written here" or "attempt to exchange contact details" category immediately makes the card unavailable to the public. The system stops publication at once without waiting for a person, and we then review the content.
• For the other categories, a card is automatically made unavailable once it has received 3 reports, and we then review it.
• If our review finds no problem, we may restore publication. If we find a problem, the card stays unpublished and we take the measures in section 9 where appropriate.
• The contents of a report are not disclosed to the author of the reported card, and we do not publish information that identifies the reporter.
• Each person may report a given card once.
• Reports that are untrue, or repeated reports targeting a particular card, may be treated as abuse of the reporting function and may lead to the measures in section 9.

7. Withdrawing a Card, and the Limits of Withdrawal

• You can withdraw a published card at any time from the card list in the App. Once withdrawn, it no longer appears in the Public Gallery.
• If you delete your account, cards that are published or awaiting review are also suspended (see Account Deletion Request).

8. The Nature of Importing

• Other users can import a card from the Public Gallery to their own device and play with it. Importing is a one-way copy: no connection, notification, or means of contact arises between the original author and the person who imported it.
• An imported card is treated as that person's own card and can be edited. If an imported card (or an edited version of it) is submitted for publication, it must go through the approval and review in sections 4 and 5 again.
• By submitting a card for publication, you grant us and other users, free of charge, permission to display, copy, import, and edit the published card anonymously. This permission is limited to cards that meet the content standards in section 2 (that is, cards containing no personal information).
• We do not acquire copyright or any other rights in the content of published cards. Once a card is withdrawn, we stop displaying it.

9. Measures for Violations

If these Terms are violated, we may take the following measures, depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation and whether it is repeated. We may do so without prior notice.

• Suspending the card in question or refusing its publication
• Restricting the ability to submit cards for publication, temporarily or permanently
• Suspending or deleting the account
• For content that violates the law, taking any necessary action, including reporting it to the relevant authorities

10. Disclaimers

• The content of cards in the Public Gallery is created by individual users. We review it, but we do not warrant that we will detect all inappropriate content.
• We make no warranty as to the accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the content of the Public Gallery.
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Public Gallery without prior notice.
• Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability under these Terms or under applicable law is limited to ordinarily foreseeable damages. Where a full exclusion of our liability is not permitted by the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or other mandatory law, this section applies to the extent permitted by that law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms in response to changes in law or to additions or changes in features. When we do, we will post the revised text on this page and update the version identifier and effective date shown at the top. If the version identifier changes, we will ask for your consent again the next time you submit a card for publication.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute between us and a user regarding these Terms or the use of the Public Gallery, the district court having jurisdiction over our place of business shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
