Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Cheki Kore! ("the App") is an ad-supported service provided by Kyohei Takeshita ("the Provider"). This page explains what the App collects and how it is used. The Japanese version of this policy is the authoritative text.

2. Personal information we collect

2.1 Account information (provided by you)

• Email address
• Name (when signing in with a social account)
• User name and display name

2.2 Cheki information

• Photos of your chekis (these may include images of people's faces)
• Where and when the photo was taken
• People, tags and descriptions you add

2.3 Device information (collected automatically)

• IP address, device ID, OS type and version, app version
• Advertising ID (only when you allow tracking)

2.4 Usage information

• How the App is used (dates, session length), screens visited
• Crash reports and performance data

3. Location

The App may use location to record where a cheki was taken (only if you allow it), and to improve the service.

4. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob (advertising)
• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Cloudflare R2 / Workers (image storage and API)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Replicate, Inc. (United States / photo enhancement)

5. Sending photos outside the App

In the "Enhance" feature (version 1.3.0 and later), only when you choose "Best quality", the selected photo is sent to an outside company for processing.

• Purpose: enhancing the image that is sent
• What is sent: the image data only. Your account information, email address, cheki title, people and tags are not sent.

Nothing is sent automatically. It happens only when you choose "Best quality", and choosing it is treated as your consent to this transfer to a third party located outside Japan. If you do not want this, do not choose "Best quality". The "Standard" enhancement runs entirely on your device and sends nothing. Every other feature works as usual.

The United States does not have a single comprehensive personal data protection law equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information; it is regulated by sector-specific and state laws. Handling by the processor follows its own privacy policy (https://replicate.com/privacy). The Provider supervises the processor as required.

6. How long we keep data

• Account information: until you leave or delete your account
• Cheki data: until you ask for it to be deleted
• Usage logs: 90 days
• Unused accounts: deleted automatically 90 days after last use

7. Your rights

• Withdraw your consent
